This week we attended ROBOTBRAG 2025 at the Danish Technological Institute in Odense, for new partnerships and experience advanced PCB innovation for the Robotics and Drone Industry.
“We are truly thrilled to witness the level of innovation on display at ROBOTBRAG 2025,” says Torben Hajslund, Sales Manager Denmark.
“It’s inspiring to be part of an industry that continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible—and we’re proud to contribute through tailored PCB solutions and design advice, that help power these innovations”, he says.
ROBOTBRAG is one of the leading gatherings for the Danish robotics and automation industry, the event offered an outstanding platform for knowledge sharing, inspiration, and business development.
Essential collaborations
It’s always valuable to connect with partners across the robotics and drone sectors—these conversations highlight how essential collaboration is to drive innovation and deliver scalable solutions.
“Strong industry networks are what drive real innovation forward. We’ve seen a clear upswing in the Danish drone sector over the past few years, both in terms of technological sophistication and international relevance. We are happy to partner with several of the key actors in the Danish and Nordic drone industry, and to support the growth with PCB solutions that meet their needs and compliance demands”, says Hajslund.
More sophisticated and mission-critical
In our work at CONFIDEE, we are particularly focused on the development and production of high-performance PCBs for drone systems. As drones become more sophisticated and mission-critical, PCB design plays an increasingly vital role. At ROBOTBRAG, it was clear how central electronics are to flight control, navigation, and data processing in unmanned systems.
PCB Design advice
When designing PCBs for drones, several factors are essential to ensure performance and reliability:
- Weight reduction is critical for maximizing flight time and payload capacity.
- Thermal management must be addressed early in the design to protect sensitive components in compact spaces.
- Vibration resistance and mechanical robustness are vital to endure dynamic flight conditions.
- High signal integrity and EMI shielding are needed to ensure stable communication and accurate sensor data.
- Component sourcing and supply chain compliance, especially for defense or dual-use applications, must be carefully managed.
